Brothers Mike & Brian Gecha
Mike and Brian Gecha, owner/operators of Gecha Fuels, were looking for a new business idea to keep them busy in the winter of 2007. They came up with the idea of a fuel company to complement their established, seasonal excavation business. Being born and raised in the Rutland area, they believed that Vermonters have grown to expect a hometown personal feel from their oil company, so they set out to deliver that personal touch.
Investing in the Business and the Team
After researching the market area that they wanted to service, the two purchased one fuel truck and Gecha Fuels was born. Soon thereafter, Gecha Fuels began building a reputation as a reliable and trusted service provider. The excellent reputation resulted in a steadily growing customer base, thanks to word-of-mouth from satisfied customers being their best advertising. Before long a second fuel truck was added to handle the growing list of happy customers. Today, Gecha Fuels has a fleet of modern trucks and state-of-the-art equipment to service customers both economically and reliably.
